When I left back in August, it was scorching hot here in Ohio and now that I've returned, it's snowing. I have been busy this past week putting all of my summer clothes away and searching for my winter wardrobe! I wasn't willing to risk taking my sewing machine on the plane, so it's been a long time to go without piecing. I did take a lot of fabric scraps with me to sub-cut into blocks ranging in size from 1.5 inches to 6 inches in one-half increments - but that quickly got old, and with a curious 2 year old and a 6 month old infant, it was difficult to get much done! I did get some knitting done though - I finished 2 pair of socks and I'm close to completing a 3rd pair.
So now that I'm back home, I'm looking forward to returning to blogging and I cannot wait to see what everyone has been up to in my absence!
