I should have followed Judy's lead, but there was a moment of weakness when I received an email from one of my friends telling me that one of our mutual friends with a quilt shop was going out of business . . . so, without further hesitation, I succumbed and purchased more than I thought it would add up to at $4.50 yd . . .

Oh, good job!!! 17+ yards of nice, fresh quilt shop fabric into your stash (and at a great price), helping out a friend who needed to unload some fabric...sounds like win-win to me!
17 yards isn't bad and for a sale . . I would have done the exact same thing. You can get into positive territory easily enough.
A sale + 17 yard and and less than 10 yards the wrong way? I'm impressed.
Yes but you were helping out a friend! Think of what her stash reprot would be if she were left with everything! I am never allowed to play with my friends, I guess we can see why.lol
it's a good thing! You've stimulated the economy, helped a friend, and revived your stash!
Wow, what a bargain! No one could resist that! And 17 yards isn't really *that* much, is it? (is it?) ;-) Take care, Dianne B. in England
