It's Design Wall Monday once again and I am still plugging away on Bonnie Hunter's Carolina Christmas. I don't have a Christmas Quilt in my collection, so this one will be really special until I make another! Our local Quilt Guild is having a weekend retreat at the end of February and we are going to make a mystery quilt and I finally made the decision to pull more fabrics from my Christmas Stash, so perhaps I will have 2 Christmas Quilts for 2010! I finally was able to finish the 48 Poinsettia Blocks I had posted on the Design Wall last week, so there are 12 Fox & Geese blocks on the wall today, only 40 more to go . . .
Check out what everyone else has on their Design Wall on JudyL's Patchwork Times! It just may inspire you to try something different!

Very pretty -- what could be better than a scrappy Christmas quilt? I know, a weekend retreat! How fun.
Great Christmas scrap quilt. Makes me want to pull mine out and work in it. I get too distracted around here...
These blocks are so pretty and Christmasy...a great quilt on it's own. I posted my blocks today too!
The blocks look great!
That looks like it's going to be a gorgeous quilt. I can't wait to see it completed.
Wow I really like how this quilt is turning out. Makes me want to go and make a Christma quilt. It would be hard to put this one away after the season though.
Isn't this fun? I had trouble slogging through the broken dishes units but now I have both the red and greens sewn in half sections. Maybe this week the blocks will get done - who knows? No stress is my goal.
I love your Christmas quilt!
I love your Carolina Christmas! Same goes for yor blog title. Every once in a while when things get crazy, I have to remember this...
This is going to be a great Christmas quilt - what great fabric choices.
nice quilt, I realized this fall that I don't have a throw size or larger Christmas quilt(lotsa wall size or small ones to decorate with). I didn't get one made for this year but hoping too for '10
Your scrappy Christmas quilt is cool! I love your fabrics.
After you said it, I realized I don't have a Christmas quilt, either. Yours makes me want to remedy that by next Christmas -- heck, I have all year -- that's no hill for a stepper! I'll go get started now . . .
When I saw the quilt my first thought was "Oh, how pretty." Carolina's Christmas is on my "quilts to make" list. I was thinking about using other colors but I like the reds and greens so I think I'll just use those colors afterall.
