this is looking lovely! I really like that pattern. I like that it LOOKS like a nine patch in a square in a sq setting..but you don't PIECE it that way. (I HATE to piece them...)

That's a great idea and I love the way it looks. I have some 9-patches already made but was going to put just a half-square triangle block with them but I like your version better.
I like your substitution with the 9-patch. Heck if you have them already made why not?

Great scrappy quilt. I must do one. I am getting pretty good at doing string blocks but I have never tried a scrappy quilt. Guess I will put it on the list now that I have seen yours.
I like the switch to the 9-patch, hourglass combo. It's very pretty.
