It's very sad, my wall is bare naked, but it will not remain that way for long! I have some longarm business I need to attend to before I can get into piecing!
I did want to show everyone the top I finished from last weeks DSW! I just need to add one row of background all the way around and then make binding from the leftover rings. I was afraid that if I put on a border with fabric/s from the rings, it would take away from the quilt, and I don't want that! What are your thoughts?

I agree with you -- I like the idea of having a row of your background fabric all the way around, and binding over that. Anything else would detract from your beautiful rings! :)
The rings turned out great! Don't leave the design wall empty for too long!
Cute quilt!
The rings are just fabulous. I am sure your design wall will not be empty for long :)
LOVE IT! One of my favorite scrap quilts.
Love it! I can't wait to see it quilted and bound with a fabulous scrappy binding. Your wall won't be empty for long....
I like borderless quilts but I don't see how a strip of background would detract from those rings--they are still going to be the eyecatcher they are now.
I agree, a border of the background will finish it off nicely :)
Your wedding ring turned out great. I like the idea of floating it all in a bit of background, and a scrappy binding seems just right. Hope you are able to get something else up before too long.
Your quilt turned out great. I think you could go either with or without a border.
Recently I made a very busy quilt and by the time I had all the blocks on the wall I decided to not put borders on. When it was hanging in our guild quilt show recently I was very pleased to see it just the way I wanted it. I did do a scrappy binding with the leftovers.
A small border of your background will set all those rings off just right. The scrappy binding is a perfect choice. Show us again when you finish. Happy Thanksgiving.
