I've reluctantly taken the Pledge . . .

Yes, I've done it now - I have decided after several days of beating myself up to take the Stash Buster's Pledge for 2009. Now it's taken me several days to come to this decision, so I've had some time to really mull it over and I've decided to make charity quilts and pillowcases. My local quilt guild is just getting into this area, so I think it'll be good and then, perhaps I will have some room to move around in my studio! It is getting so cramped in here that I feel like that silver ball in the pinball machine. Now that initial shock has worn off, I am kind of excited to get started! Last night I made a half dozen spool blocks, but they did not go together fast enough for me, so I think I will stick with the bowtie blocks as I think they are so quick and easy!

You can't quilt making the spools yet. I want my 4 per month. Please!

It's a good think you scratched out that "reluctantly"! You're now cheerfully committed to stashbusting and you're very optimistic about reaching your goals, right? Yep, me too! :)

It's really not that bad. I'd rather take the pledge than go to the dentist any day! ;0) Congrats on taking the plunge with us.
