We're back from our trip to visit our son and his wife in DC! It was a quickie trip, but a good one. Now, regarding the 8th block from Judy Laquidara's Star BOM - ta DA! I think my next block needs some of that dark purple in it . . .

My husband drives like that in DC too! He claims it's "defensive" and that "everybody else is worse." Like if you drive something approximating the speed limit, all the other drivers will just plow into you, so you have to speed up just to escape.
