Design Wall Monday

I saw this exact quilt on my blog friend Ruthie's blog last year and said to myself:  when we go back to Hawaii, I am going to buy fabric to make that quilt!  Well, 7 months after that post, we returned to Hawaii for the birth of our twin granddaughters and I went on a Hawaiian fabric shopping spree at Fabric Mart in Pearl City!  It was really hard to choose from the vast array of Hawaiian fabrics, so I purchased a half yard of several different prints.  So this is what I've got done so far . . .

Oh wow I LOVE how this quilt is looking! Makes me think of warm breezes from the ocean (not that I have ever been to Hawaii lol)
