Design Wall Monday

This is a picture of what I have been working on for Judy's Quiltathon . . . I tweaked Judy's Scraps Ahoy pattern and replaced her log cabinish blocks with 9-patches as I have tons of pre-cut 2.5 inch squares that I wanted to make a dent in!  This is only a pic of 16+ blocks. but I would like to do 35!

So click on over to JudyL's Patchwork Times to see what everyone else has on their Design Wall!

I really like the way that your top is turning out. 35 blocks? A piece of cake!

this is looking lovely! I really like that pattern. I like that it LOOKS like a nine patch in a square in a sq setting..but you don't PIECE it that way. (I HATE to piece them...)

Oh, I'm really liking what you're doing with this. It's going very well.

That's a great idea and I love the way it looks. I have some 9-patches already made but was going to put just a half-square triangle block with them but I like your version better.

I like your substitution with the 9-patch. Heck if you have them already made why not?

Great scrappy quilt. I must do one. I am getting pretty good at doing string blocks but I have never tried a scrappy quilt. Guess I will put it on the list now that I have seen yours.

I like the switch to the 9-patch, hourglass combo. It's very pretty.
