Design Wall Monday

Well, there isn't anything on the wall today, but there are two new projects in the works - both of them are Judy's fault! First picture is of the fabrics I will be working with for JudyL's Mystery Quilt. The second group of fabrics are my basket of patriotics that I am rummaging through for JudyL's QOV Project! The third pic is of my Raspberry Jam Quilt that I have run out of the fabric for the setting triangles. I had hoped to return to the LQS where I purchased the fabric a year ago, but life keeps getting in the way and I have been unable to get there, so while I was rummaging for the fabrics for the 2 projects, I came across a couple of fabrics that might work - one is a bit lighter and the other is a bit darker. Currently, I am leaning towards the darker fabric on the right . . .

Your mystery fabrics are fabulous with the black! The patriotic fabrics are going to make a great quilt. I would use the darker of the raspberry fabrics and say that was your intention all along. It looks great.

The mystery fabrics are great - I also like using black with brights.

I also agree with the darker raspberry fabric.
