Design Wall Monday

I have two things to show on my Design Wall today!  I got all of the blocks done for JudyL's June 2010 Mystery - all 35 of them - and they are even sewn into a top!  All that's left to do now is make a decision on fabric for the borders.  I was so stoked to get all those blocks done, that I unearthed another project from November of last year . . . Wedding Rings by Seams & Dreams.  I finished 3 more blocks on that project which leaves only 8 more blocks and that top will be done too!

I have been so inspired by keeping my sewing room clean, it really is conducive to productivity.  I still am not done with the cleaning/reorganization project though as I still have around 30 baskets to go through yet - actually that's how I came across the Wedding Rings UFO . . .

Oh, and I almost forgot that I finished Clue #1 for JudyL's Mystery!  She will be posting Clue #2 tomorrow.

Check out what everyone has on their Design Wall at JudyL's Patchwork Times!

You got a lot done. All of your projects are inspiring. Love the scrappy wedding rings and the completed top from July L's site is so pretty. Love your color choices.

Good job betting your mystery blocks sewn together..and progress on the Wedding Rings. Love your fabrics for the new mystery that I was NOT going to do until 2 friends worked on theirs this weekend and now you show yours.....what's a girl to do but start one of her own!

love the wedding ring quilt, so pretty and the piecing doesn't look difficult, looks like it is all in the fabric placement.

Gorgeous quilts, all of them. But I think my favourite is the Wedding ring one. I love patterns that create the illusion of curves out of straight lines. I'm working on that mystery too, and have step one done, but didn't manage to get pictures of it yet.

Gorgeous mystery quilt! I made all my blocks and even bought a backing but haven't laid them out or sewn them together. Gotta get on that! Love the circles quilt too.

OK, so how do you sew and clean/sort all at the same time. I clean and then I sew and then I need to clean again. I must be a messier sewer than you. '-) Oh, your tops look great: I love all that color.

Until I learn a designer's tastes I am reluctant to dive into a mystery. JudyL designs many projects that I like so I'd not be worried one bit. Your results on the two you have in progress are really nice. I'm happy that you've picked back up on your Wedding Rings and look forward to seeing your progress. I'll be starting BonnieH November Mystery with first clue being released Nov 1st.

It is so funny to see other people making so many of the same quilts that I have made. I came over to check out your blog after a nice e-mail showing the Christmas Lights quilt that you made looking so much like mine, and right away I saw the same Judy L. mystery that is on my daughters bed right now. I'll be working my way backwards to see what else we've got in common. Thanks so much for dropping by. The quilt is lovely by they way, such great colors.

Oh, I forgot to say that those wedding rings look so fun, do you happen to remember where you got the pattern?
