Design Wall Monday

Once again, it's Design Wall Monday and this time I have some progress to show!  I got the Raspberry Jam top all done, now I have to get it quilted before I can scallop the outer border.  I have never done a scallop or a wave border before, so this will be an adventure!

So now it's time for something else to go on the wall . . . the blocks from a Quilt Guild Retreat from several years ago, I'm thinking perhaps from 2005 or '06.  Of course I am missing a block (see the hole at the top left?).  I just hope that I have some more of that white on white background fabric to make another one, the reds won't matter as much as the background . . .

Check out what everyone else has on their design wall at JudyL's Patchwork Times!

Both projects are wonderful! Show us how you're doing that scalloped edging so we can learn!

I have never done a wavy border either so please be sure and post a pic when you have that done.

Amazing how we never run out of projects to put up on the design wall after we finish a quilt. LOL.

Your Raspberry jam is really cute.

Reds seem to be on a lot of walls this morning. I love that colour but don't have a lot of it in fabric. Maybe I'll just have to order some. LOL. Your quilts are lovely. I hope you mange to find enough of the background fabric to finish that quilt.

Ohh, scalloped edges how nice. Template, trace and cut? I never tried it. Can't wait to see and hear of your adventure!!

I have had one block short syndrome before and it is aggrivating. Hope you have what you need.

oh, Man! I love the red on the botton one. If you don't have that fabric still, just make it noticably differnt and it will look what they call "interesting" ! LOL

glen: I will love it either way!

Hey is that the Bouncing Betty? Mine is not done either. The blocks are sewn together but I quit working on it when I got to the borders. It will be good to see one finished. You go girl!

Yes it is the Bouncing Betty - thanks, I could not remember the name of it!

Raspberry Jam is such a happy quilt. The scallop border will be just the right touch.

Good luck finding the fabric you need for that last block. That quilt is going to be a winner too.
